CAP Makeover Dog Adopted!

Remember Cricket? She was the Yorkie-mix dog from the Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) shelter selected for the ultimate doggy makeover. With the goal of increasing her adoptability, 2-year-old Cricket received 10-day obedience training by Holly Furgason from Pup Scouts and professional grooming by Edna Johnson, owner of Jus B Coz, Inc.

Cricket’s makeover was revealed at the dog show on Saturday, July 21 in hopes of finding her a forever home. Goal accomplished! Cricket was adopted the following day from CAP’s shelter. She went to a home with two other dogs, a 16-year-old Maltie-poo and a 7-year-old Schnauzer, and her new mom spends all day with her. Congratulations Cricket!

Thanks again to CAP, Pup Scouts and Edna Johnson for helping Cricket find her new home.
